AI Agents That Keep Your Attio CRM Current

AI agents that update records and deals, move pipelines along, turn recorded calls into notes and tasks, and answer when a teammate mentions them in a comment, so Attio reflects what actually happened this week.

63 things your agent can do in Attio

Update records and deals, work your lists and pipelines, turn calls into notes and tasks, and handle files and workspace setup. Changes wait for approval until you decide otherwise.

A CRM is only as good as its last update.

Attio can model any relationship your team has. Someone still has to log the call, move the deal, and answer the question in the comments.

6

Updates after every call

Stage, next step, close date, value, a note, and a follow-up task. On a busy day, some of them wait until Friday, and some never happen.

@

Mentions that wait

A teammate asks a question in a comment on a deal. It sits there until the person it mentions opens that record again.

1 afternoon

A week on pipeline cleanup

Missing owners, stale stages, duplicate companies. The cleanup piles up until someone blocks an afternoon to fix it.

How it works with Attio

Three steps to an AI team member that works alongside you in Attio.

01

Connect Attio

An Attio admin signs in and approves; there is nothing to type. Then pick who the agent is in Attio. A seat of its own keeps its comments under its own name, and the tasks and mentions for that seat go to the agent.

02

Set the playbook

Tell the agent your stage definitions, what a complete record looks like, and which updates it may make on its own. It follows your team's process, not a generic one.

03

Let it work

Assign it tasks and mention it in comments from day one. Changes wait for approval while you build trust; loosen the gates once the updates look right.

Everything you need for an Attio that stays true

From the note after the call to the answer in the comments, your AI agent does the CRM work that keeps slipping.

Records that stay current

Creates and updates people, companies, deals, and your custom objects. It matches on email address or domain, so it updates the record you already have instead of adding a duplicate.

Pipelines that move

Moves deals and list entries through their stages, fills in the fields each stage needs, and adds records to the right list, from sales pipelines to hiring and fundraising.

Tasks it actually does

Assign the agent a task in Attio and it gets to work: it reads the linked record, does what the task asks, marks it done, and leaves a note saying what it did.

Answers in the thread

Mention the agent in a comment on any record and it replies in the same thread, with what it found in Attio or in the other tools it works in.

Calls that write their own notes

When a recorded call has its transcript in Attio, the agent writes the summary on the deal and creates the follow-up tasks. Hand it a call's transcript and it files the call on the Attio meeting itself. It reads the notes already there before it touches an account.

Lookups in plain language

"Open deals above $50k in the negotiation stage" becomes a filtered list the agent pulls for you, across any object or list in your workspace.

What teams use it for

Concrete examples of Attio agents in production today.

Post-call updates

When a sales call's transcript is ready in Attio, the agent writes the summary as a note on the deal, moves the stage, sets the next step, and creates the follow-up task. The rep checks the changes instead of making them.

Handoffs through comments

A rep mentions the agent on a deal: "can you check their plan and add the renewal date?" The agent looks it up in your billing tool, updates the record, and answers in the thread, without anyone leaving Attio.

Monday pipeline prep

Every Monday morning the agent reviews open deals, flags the ones with no recent activity, fills in missing owners and close dates where the answer is on file, and posts a short summary to your sales channel.

Frequently asked questions

Things people commonly ask before deploying an AgentTeams agent in Attio.

How does the agent connect to Attio?

Through Attio's standard sign-in, approved by a workspace admin. You then choose which member the agent works as: tasks assigned to that member and comments that mention them go to the agent, and its comments carry their name. A seat of its own is the cleanest setup, and it doesn't need admin rights.

Will it change records without asking?

Only if you let it. Every change, from updating a record to posting a comment, waits for approval by default. Loosen that per action once you trust the agent's updates.

What does it react to?

Out of the box, tasks assigned to it and comments that mention it. You can also switch on reactions to new records, deal stage changes, list entries, notes, and finished call recordings. It never reacts to its own changes.

Does it work with custom objects and lists?

Yes. The agent reads your objects, attributes, and lists the way your workspace sets them up, including status and select options, and works with custom objects the same way it works with people, companies, and deals. Ask it to add an attribute, an option, or a pipeline stage and it sets that up too.

How do we stop it?

Disconnect Attio on the agent's Tools tab, or remove the app in Attio's workspace settings. Either one ends the agent's access to your workspace.
