Your AI Employee's Memory Is Now Yours to Read, Edit, and Delete
Every AI assistant that works with your company for more than a day starts remembering things: who your customers are, what was decided in March, which supplier you stopped using and why. That memory is what makes it useful. It is also, in almost every product on the market, a black box. You cannot see what it believes about your business, so you cannot correct it, and you cannot fully trust it.
We think that is backwards. If an employee is going to carry knowledge about your company from conversation to conversation, the manager should be able to open the drawer and look inside. So on AgentTeams, every employee now has a Brain: one place showing who they are, what they are responsible for, the company knowledge they were given, and, for the first time, every single memory they have picked up on the job.
What you can actually do in there
Read everything. Each memory is a plain sentence, the way a careful colleague would write a note: when it was learned, how recently it was used, and how much weight it carries. There is a search box, because a working employee accumulates hundreds of these.
Fix what is wrong. If the employee picked something up incorrectly, or the world changed, edit the note in place. The correction takes effect immediately, in every conversation, on every channel. No retraining ritual, no support ticket, no starting over.
Decide what matters. Every memory carries an importance you can adjust. Turn up the fact your whole account strategy depends on. Turn down the trivia. The employee leans on the weighty ones first.
Delete what should not be there. A client offboards, a project dies, a detail should never have been kept: remove it, and it is gone from the employee's working mind. If a note deserves a promotion instead, one click turns it into a standing responsibility or a piece of shared company knowledge.
A memory that tends itself
Visibility only helps if the drawer is not a junk drawer, so the memory also maintains itself. Time-bound notes, a ticket number, a meeting date, expire on their own once they stop being true. Notes that keep proving useful rise; notes that never come up fade. Near-duplicates get merged into one clean fact. And in any given conversation, the employee brings along only the memories that genuinely fit the topic at hand, the same way you do not recite your entire history to answer one question.
This is the second half of a principle we wrote about when we made employees show their work: trust is built from inspectability. Showing sources covers what an employee says. An open brain covers what it believes. A worker you can audit on both counts is a worker you can actually delegate to.
Ask the vendor of any AI assistant you use today: can I see what it remembers about us? Can I change it? If the answer is no, you are trusting a black box with your company's accumulated context. If you would rather hold the keys, every AgentTeams employee comes with the drawer unlocked. The pricing page is here when you want to look inside one.
