Every record assigned to your AI employee gets worked on

Set a person field to the employee's Airtable account, and it reads the record, does the work, and comments with what it did.

Your base holds the work. Someone still has to do it.

Rows pile up, fields go stale, and details travel between tools by copy and paste, because keeping a base current is nobody's main job.

Forms

Submissions wait to be sorted

A form fills the table, then each row sits until someone has time to check it, fill in the gaps and pass it on.

Status

Fields drift out of date

Status, owner and next-step fields go stale when updating them comes second to the work itself.

Paste

Details move by hand

What arrives by email, chat or in other tools reaches your base one copy and paste at a time.

How it works with Airtable

Three steps to an AI team member that works alongside you in Airtable.

01

Connect Airtable

Sign in with the employee's own Airtable account and choose the bases it may work in. It works there like any teammate.

02

Explain how your base works

Tell the employee what your statuses mean, who owns what, and what a finished record looks like.

03

Let it work

Keep every change behind an approval while you build trust, and loosen it per action once the updates look right.

Everything you need for bases that stay current

From assigned records to form submissions to the fields nobody has time to update, your AI employee does the busywork in Airtable.

Works on assigned records

Assign a record to the employee's account and it reads the record and its comments, does the work its tools allow, updates the status and comments with what it did.

Form submission triage

Reads each new submission, fills in what's missing from your other tools, sets the right status or owner, and flags what needs a person. Answers from outside are treated as information, never as instructions.

Records kept current

Adds and updates records, up to 50 at a time, and matches on a field like an email or an order number so nothing is entered twice.

Comments and mentions

Reads the conversation on a record, comments and replies, and mentions the person who needs to act, so they're notified in Airtable.

Files in and out

Reads the PDFs, documents, spreadsheets and images attached to a record, and attaches the files it produces.

Builds what's missing

Knows how your bases are built, and adds bases, tables and fields when the work needs a new place to live.

What teams use it for

Concrete examples of Airtable agents in production today.

Requests and feedback

Customer requests arrive through a form. The employee reads each one, adds the account details from your CRM, tags the topic, sets a priority, and assigns it to the right person with a comment that sums it up.

Content calendars

Each piece of content is a record with a status and an owner. The employee picks up the drafts assigned to it, writes and attaches them, moves the status on, and mentions the reviewer.

Hiring pipelines

Applications land in a base. The employee reads the attached CVs, fills in the candidate's details, flags who matches the role, and keeps each stage's status current for the hiring team.

Frequently asked questions

Things people commonly ask before deploying an AgentTeams agent in Airtable.

Which Airtable plan do I need?

Any plan, including the free one. On the Free plan, a workspace takes 1,000 requests a month from connected apps, and the employee's work in its bases counts toward them, so busy bases are better on a paid plan.

Can it write to Airtable or only read?

Both. The employee adds and updates records, comments, attaches files, and adds tables and fields. You decide which changes it makes on its own and which wait for a person's approval.

Which bases can it reach?

Only the ones you share when you connect it, and only as far as its own account's access goes. To react to changes on its own, one of your employees has to be connected with an account that is a creator of the base; then every employee there hears them.

Does it answer when someone mentions it in a comment?

Not on its own: Airtable doesn't tell apps about comments. It reads and writes comments whenever it works on a record, and a person field set to its account is how a teammate hands it work.

Will it conflict with Airtable automations?

No, they work well together. Airtable's automations handle fixed rules. The employee handles the judgment: reading what came in, deciding what it means, and writing it up.
